The OccluSense® Pressure Sensor is a handheld battery operated device which uses your local WiFi network to transfer recorded data to the OccluSense® iPad App. The inductive charger provides wireless power transfer and fully charged batteries allow up to 4 hours usage of the device.
The technologically advanced Occlusense pressure sensors allow the recording of the masticatory forces in 256 pressure levels. The 60 micron thin and flexible material permits the recording of both the static and dynamic occlusion. Additionally, the red colour coating marks the occlusal contacts on the patient's teeth. And because every bite is different the OccluSense® Sensor is available in two sizes: L and XL.
The OccluSense® iPad App is free to download but needs to be run on an Apple iPad. The recorded data of the occlusal masticatory distribution can be viewed and stored in the patient management system of the OccluSense® iPad App, and reviewed or exported at any time to your PC or Mac or even over a local network.
The data can be viewed as 2-and 3-dimensional graphics with up to 150 images per second. Traditional colour transfer on the occlusal facilitates the assignment of the recorded data.
